Animation Technique
The use of the rotoscope technique in the production of this animated film is due to the idea or
the concept to be conveyed in the story has harmony. This technique too
has the advantage of production time efficiency because this technique is a copying technique
image from the original video. (Rahman, Suminto, & Purwacandra, 2017). In making a
Animation requires special techniques, so that the resulting animation is of high quality. the technique
are stop motion animation, hybrid animation, and digital animation. (Rona G, Purnasiwi;
May P, 2013)
1. Stop Motion Animation
Stop Motion Animation is an animation that is formed from the images that are made
graphically which is then transferred. So, stop motion animation is a way or
techniques commonly used to create an animation. Equipment that
a still camera or video camera, tripod or anything else with support is required
camera in place, and most importantly the object.
2. Hybrid Animation
Hybrid Animation is a technique for creating animation by drawing
manually on paper, then transferred to the computer.
3. Digital Animation
Digital Animation is a technique for creating animation by purely drawing on
computer. The equipment used is completely digital.
